This was Vampi's debut in a Warren mag--a two-page spread advertising her new magazine.As Jim explained in The Warren Companion, the company was floundering, having lost a lot of its creative talent and deeply in debt. Creepy and Eerie were half-reprints, and something needed to be done to turn it around.
Luckily, Vampirella came along at exactly the right moment. The mag was a smash and it helped Warren rebuild and come back stronger than ever. Thanks Vampi!
