I always liked the Morbius character. I would've loved to see him participate in one of those DC/Marvel crossovers in the 70s, like with The Phantom Stranger or Deadman. That would've kicked supernatural ass.

Morbius definitely rocked back then! What with this and his concurrent series running in the four-color ADVENTURE INTO FEAR, it was a veritable overdose. What was most unique was that the VAMPIRE TALES stories were horror-themed, whilst the comic book was a science-fiction series. Yet the character worked well in both genres. Great stuff!
