Frantic Ad - Marvel

sgThis ad(click here to see a readable version) made me scratch my head.

It's from a British Marvel reprint magazine called Chiller Pocket Book, and I guess its for the UK version of Marvel's Crazy, but locally called Frantic? Does the word crazy not...translate, for lack of a better word, in England, necessitating the change?

I do love the idea of Marvel using one of their lamest characters to sell the book.

I assume that as Crazy was sort of distributed in the UK, they decided to call the reprint mag, 'Frantic' to avoid confusion. Which as we comics fans know, only makes everything more confusing! LOL. 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' is the classic example of this way of thinking.
