Famous Monsters of Filmland Convention Bag - 1974

Today is the one-year anniversary of All in Black & White For 75 Cents, so I wanted to post something different(and hopefully way cool) for the occasion.

I saw this item on eBay(of course), and I just had to have it. Not only is it the only one of its kind I've ever seen, but it seems like a tiny window into a world I missed.

I was too young to have made it to any of the Warren/FMOF conventions, and they sound like they were so much fun. The first few cons I went to were dull, dry affairs--mostly just a room of moldy back issues--but this bag just gives me such a nice, fuzzy feeling. I'm weird that way.

If this bag wasn't thirty + years old and thin, I'd bring it with me, and cruise the con floor in style.
