This is an anti-Vietnam editorial (click here to see a readable version) that Jim Warren on the inside covers of his Sept. 1970 magazines(this is from Eerie #29, specifically).

Leaving the politics of it aside, this was the kind of thing that made Jim Warren unique--the voice of one man, willing to make a direct statement sure to offend at least a good-sized portion of his audience.

He had a lot to lose with stunts like this, and he did it anyway. Publishing Blazing Combat was one thing, putting your name under something like this was another. Ah, they don't make 'em like Jim Warren much anymore!
